Abstract:
A folding propeller control method and apparatus, and a device. The method comprises: before an unmanned aerial vehicle (500) takes off and when at least two blades of a folding propeller (200) are not deployed, a controller sends to a motor (100) a drive signal for controlling the folding propeller (200) to deploy, the drive signal being used for driving the motor (100) to accelerate; drive the motor (100) to decelerate when it is detected that the speed of the motor (100) reaches a maximum propeller speed and the folding propeller (200) is in an undeployed operating state, the maximum propeller speed being less than the take-off speed of the unmanned aerial vehicle (500); repeat the process of driving the motor (100) to accelerate and driving the motor (100) to decelerate, until it is detected that the folding propeller (200) is in an operating state in which the at least two blades are completely deployed. By controlling the motor (100) before the unmanned aerial vehicle (500) takes off, the folding propeller (200) is automatically deployed before take-off, thereby avoiding the risk of rollover caused by direct take-off of the unmanned aerial vehicle (500) when the propeller (200) is not deployed.
