Abstract:
Provided are folding stairs used for working in a high place or climbing to a high level. A supporting frame includes a pair of support members which are separate from each other and, at the bottom, connected to each other. A movable frame includes a pair of movable members which are fitted to the respective support members to have an up-and-down motion and connect to each other at the top. Treads are arranged in the vertical direction within intervals between the support members and between the movable members. A link assembly connects the treads to the support frame or the movable frame and is extendable so that the treads are unfolded or folded by being interlocked with the movable frame raised or lowered on the support frame. Accordingly, storage and portability are convenient because the volume can be reduced when not in use, stable posture and convenient work are ensured even while working a long time, and stably walking up and down the stairs is allowed.
