Abstract:
Provided is a follow-up composition for a cosmetic applicator, said follow-up composition contributing to the stabilization of the discharge characteristics of a liquid cosmetic, being capable of stably holding the liquid cosmetic with time and enabling easy determination of the using-up of the liquid cosmetic, regardless of whether the inside of a housing part is visible or invisible and whether an application part is of a ball pointed pen-type or not. The follow-up composition for a cosmetic applicator is characterized by comprising at least a base oil and 3.5-8 mass% of an elastomer having a styrene structure. The follow-up composition for a cosmetic applicator is to be used as a follower 25 which is in contact with a liquid cosmetic 20 and moves to follow up the consumption of the liquid cosmetic in, for example, a cosmetic applicator A, said cosmetic applicator A comprising a tubular housing part 10, an application part 30 mounted to the front end of the tubular housing part and the liquid cosmetic 20 directly housed in the tubular housing part which is communicated with the application part either directly or via an intervening member.
