Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a food material that is added to food to promote in-brain secretion of neurotrophins including BDNF, and that can endow the food with a brain function improvement function and a cranial nerve disease prevention function. An oligopeptide mixture containing a tripeptide or a dipeptide having lysine and/or arginine as a constituent amino acid allows neurotrophins in the brain to be increased with good efficiency.
