Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a novel food or beverage capable of lowering blood alcohol level. [Solution] A food or beverage containing a water-insoluble component that is derived from a fruit. The food or beverage may be in the form of, for example, a beverage containing the water-insoluble fruit-derived component at a ratio of 0.6 g/100 ml or more, or a solid or semisolid food containing 0.6 g or more of the aforesaid component. The food or beverage may contain alanine in addition to the water-insoluble fruit-derived component.
