Disclosed is a food blender (100), comprising a main machine (10) and a stirring cup (20) mounted on the main machine (10), with a main control board (12) being provided in the main machine (10). The food blender (100) further comprises a heating apparatus. The heating apparatus is located at a lower end of the stirring cup (20), and the heating apparatus is electrically connected to the main control board (12). The main machine (10) is further provided with a ray detection apparatus (30) electrically connected to the main control board (12), the ray detection apparatus (30) being located below a cup bottom of the stirring cup (20) to detect the temperature at the cup bottom of the stirring cup (20) and/or the mounting status of the stirring cup (20). In the food blender (100), by means of the ray detection apparatus (30) provided on the main machine (10), when detecting that the stirring cup (20) is mounted in position, operation is started, and the temperature at the cup bottom of the stirring cup (20) is detected. When the temperature at the cup bottom of the stirring cup (20) is too high, the heating apparatus stops heating to prevent problems such as the bottom becoming stuck, overflowing and drying out.
