Abstract:
The present invention provides a food container manufacturing method that is capable of suppressing the occurrence of wrinkles and swelling and manufacturing a deep food container having excellent thermal insulation properties by using supercritical injection molding. A food container manufacturing method according to the present invention is for manufacturing a deep food container by injection-molding a molten resin which includes a supercritical fluid and a resin composition into a cavity of a mold, wherein: the cavity includes, from a resin inlet toward the flow end, a first region, a second region, and a third region for respectively forming the bottom surface, the curved surface, and the lateral surface of the deep food container; and a mold surface that faces the cavity, at the second region and the third region, has an arithmetic average roughness of 0.5-10 µm, and ten-point average roughness of 2-60 µm.
