Description:
A Food-Dispenser FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates in general, to the field of food accessories. More specifically, it relates to the field of food dispensers, particularly for children.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Various food dispensers are known. Most of the food dispensers are made for dispensing-a stick, a slice or designed shape of food-in order to achieve aesthetic arrangement of food on a plate, on a cake or on other food.

The known food dispensers are not designed to be direct eaten from. There is a need for an eating dispenser, particularly for children while they are eating

seated in a car or are walking in the street. In such cases, it would be advantageous to have a food dispenser that dispenses small quantities of food and enables children to eat these quantities directly from it independently, easily and neatly.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention is a. food-dispenser that enables, by rotating a disk in the bottom of the dispenser, to dispense food gradually or gradually extrudes food through designed openings.

According to a preferred embodiment it is provided a food-dispenser adapted to receive an edible material, usually solid or frozen, and enables to gradually dispense the material to be eaten, this food dispenser is comprising: an elongated housing having structural walls defining a chamber with a bottom and an opened upper end, the housing has an internal structure generally

corresponding to the shape of the material to be dispensed; a central screwing-axis, which is installed along the housing through a hole in the bottom; a rotating means connected to the screwing-axis, in the bottom side of the housing, enabling to rotate the screwing-axis from the outside of the housing ;. and a plunger means positioned in the housing and is screwed on the screwing-axis, movable along the housing by rotating the screwing-axis, wherein the rotation is done by using the rotating means.

According to another preferred embodiment it is provided the food-dispenser, further includes a cover with a plurality of designed openings. The cover seals the housing's upper end and enables to extrude the edible material through the openings.

According to another preferred embodiment it is provided the food-dispenser, wherein the superficies of the

food-dispenser is designed in various shapes in order to attract children and/or youth and/or adults.

According to another preferred embodiment it is provided the food-dispenser, further includes a solid-food unit that is shaped in correspondence to the structure of the housing, to be inserted into the housing-when the plunger means is positioned in the bottom of the housing- and the solid food unit can be pushed out and eaten by rotating the screwing-axis and elevating the plunger means.

According to another preferred embodiment it is provided the food-dispenser, wherein the solid food is a frozen ice cream.

According to another aspect of the present invention it is provided a food-dispenser adapted to receive an edible material, usually solid or frozen, and enables to gradually

dispense the material to be eaten, this food dispenser is comprising: an elongated housing-having structural walls defining a chamber with a bottom and opened upper end, the housing has an internal structure generally corresponding to the shape of the material to be dispensed ; a cover with a plurality of designed openings, this cover seals the housing's upper and enables extruding the edible material through the openings; a central screwing-axis, which is installed along the housing through a hole in the bottom; a rotating means connected to the screwing-axis, in the bottom side of the housing, enabling to rotate the screwing-axis from the outside of the housing; a plunger means positioned in the housing and is screwed on said screwing-axis, movable along the housing by rotating the screwing-axis, wherein the rotation is done by using the rotating means; and

a solid-food unit that is shaped in correspondence to the configuration of the housing, to be inserted into the housing-when the plunger means is positioned in the bottom of the housing-and the solid food unit can be pushed out and eaten by rotating the screwing-axis that elevates the plunger means.

According to a preferred embodiment of the aforementioned food-dispenser, it is provided wherein the superficies of the food-dispenser is designed in various shapes in order to attract children According to a preferred embodiment of the aforementioned food-dispenser, it is provided, wherein the solid food is a frozen ice cream.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES The invention is herein described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings. With specific reference now to the drawings in detail, it is

stressed that the particulars shown are by way of example and for purposes of illustrative discussion of the preferred embodiments of the present invention only, and are presented in the cause of providing what is believed to be the most useful and readily understood description of the principles and conceptual aspects of the invention.

In this regard, no attempt is made to show structural details of the invention in more detail than is necessary for a fundamental understanding of the invention, the description taken with the drawings making apparent to those skilled in the art how the several forms of the invention may be embodied in practice.

In the figures: Figure 1 illustrates an embodiment of a food- dispenser according to the present invention, Figure 2 illustrates a cross section of an embodiment of a food-dispenser according to the present invention.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERED EMBOD ! MENTS

The present invention is a food-dispenser. The present invention provides a food-dispenser that is particularly made for children. This food-dispenser is adapted to receive edible material, usually solid food or ice cream. By using a disk or knob in the bottom of the dispenser, the user can rotate a central screwing axis inside the dispenser's housing. The central axis rotation elevates a plunger means that is screwed on the axis and the plunger means pushes the edible material out, optionally by extruding it through designed openings. The edible material is pushed out gradually in correspondence with the axis rotation and can be eaten.

The principles and operation of the food-dispenser according to the present. invention may be better understood with reference to the drawing and the accompanying description.

Referring now to the drawing, Figure 1 illustrates an embodiment of a food-dispenser according to the present

invention. The food-dispenser has a housing 10 with a plunger means 11 inside that is screwed on a central screwing axis 12. The central axis 12 can be rotated, by a rotating disk 13, and elevates the plunger-means 11 if a material located in the housing 10 it is pushed up against the cover 14 and the material is extruded through the openings 15 that are in the cover 14.

Figure 2 illustrates a cross section of an embodiment of a food-dispenser according to the present invention. In this figure an edible food, e. g. ice cream, 16 is inserted into the housing 10 and covered by a cover 14 with designed openings 15. The rotating disk 13 can be rotated step by step, in order to rotate the central axis 12. The central axis 12 rotation elevates the plunger means 11, which is screwed on it. The food 16 is pushed up by the plunger means 11 and is extruded 17 through the openings 15. The extruded food 17 can be eaten or

licked and then the rotation disk 13 can be rotated again for another portion of food. When the food 16 is finished, the rotation disk 13 can be rotated back to lower the plunger means 11 to the bottom of the housing 10.

Although the invention has been described in conjunction with specific. embodiments thereof, it is evident that many alternatives, modifications and variations will be apparent to those skilled in the art.

Accordingly, it is intended to embrace all such alternatives, modifications ana variations that fall within the spirit and broad scope of the appended claims.
