The present invention provides a unique food dough mixer in which the clearance between the internal side surface of a rotating bowl and the side part of a stirrer and the clearance between the internal base surface of the same rotating bowl and the base section of the stirrer can be simultaneously adjusted, and with which the desired dough preparation time, dough viscosity and the like can be obtained. The food dough mixer, which has a rotating bowl (2) for preparing the dough, and a rotating stirrer disposed vertically between the rotational axis line (0) and the internal side surface (2a) of said bowl, is provided with an inclination elevation means (4) which rotationally supports the abovementioned mixer in a vertical manner, while raising or lowering said mixer at an angle (θ) of acclivity to the rotational axis line of the abovementioned bowl. By the raising and lowering of the abovementioned stirrer at an inclination with said inclination elevation means, the clearance (C1) between the internal side surface of the abovementioned rotating bowl and the side part (3a) of the abovementioned stirrer and the clearance (C2) between the internal base surface (2b) of the same rotating bowl and the base section (3b) of the stirrer can be simultaneously adjusted.
