Abstract:
A food forming mechanism and method, the mechanism comprising a flipping mechanism (1), a first conveying apparatus (2), a glue spraying mechanism (4), a folding and rotating formation assembly (3), and a second conveying apparatus (5). The folding and rotating formation assembly (3) comprises a supporting portion, which is used for supporting a food blank located on a formation station; two oppositely provided turning over portions (301), which are used for respectively turning over two side portions of the food blank, at least one turning over portion (301) cooperating with the supporting portion to form a clamping mechanism (30); a turning over driving apparatus, which is used for driving the turning over portions (301) to turn over; a rotation driving mechanism, which is used for driving the clamping mechanism (30) to rotate, such that the food blank forms a rolled piece of food; and a pumping driving mechanism, which is at least used for driving the clamping mechanism (30) to move away from the rolled food, such that the clamping mechanism (30) is drawn out from the rolled food. Two side portions of a food blank are turned over by means of a mechanical automation device, such that the food blank then rotates to form a rolled piece of food, improving food processing efficiency, reducing labor and manual costs, and enhancing the controllability of processing quality.
