Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a food management system 1000 with which it is possible to accurately detect food accommodated in a refrigerator 1. This food management system 1000 for managing food accommodated in a refrigerator 1 comprises: a refrigeration compartment camera 21 that is provided at the upper part of the refrigerator 1 and that captures an imaging range including an opening in a refrigeration compartment 11 of the refrigerator 1; a drawer camera 22 that is provided at the upper part of the refrigerator 1 and that captures an imaging range including a drawer pulled out from an accommodation compartment other than the refrigeration compartment 11; and a food detector for detecting, on the basis of the imaging result from the refrigeration compartment camera 21 and/or the drawer camera 22, food loaded into or unloaded from the refrigerator 1.
