Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a food processing device that achieves a reduced size, that shortens the interval of food charging by utilizing continuous processing, and that ensures a long residence time in the interior of a processing chamber. [Solution] The present invention comprises: a conveyor carrier 110 provided with a conveyor body 111 and a transmission chain 112 for driving the conveyor body 111; a travel frame 120 for supporting the conveyor carrier 110 so as to allow sliding along a travel trajectory; a conveyor drive device 130 provided with a drive sprocket 131 for applying a driving force to the transmission chain 112; and a processing chamber 160 where food is processed. The travel frame 120 is provided with a spiral tower part 122, there being provided a spiral raising part 1221 and a spiral lowering part 1222, and is stowed in the processing chamber 160. A sprocket tower part 134, where drive sprockets 131 for driving carrier belts of respective stages of the spiral tower part 122 are arranged side by side in the up/down direction, is provided facing the spiral tower 122.
