Abstract:
A food processing device (100) comprises: a reaction tank (1) in which a reaction solution (13a) containing a starting food material is housed; a reaction tube (7) which is disposed within the reaction tank (1) and provided with a photocatalyst (forming a thin film layer (9)) on the outer surface; a light source (8) irradiating light onto the photocatalyst from inside the reaction tube (7); a dissolved oxygen concentration measuring unit (dissolved oxygen meter (28)) measuring the dissolved oxygen concentration in the reaction solution (13a); and a control unit (19) which stops light irradiation from the light source (8) when the measured dissolved oxygen concentration exceeds a preset first dissolved oxygen concentration.
