Abstract:
Provided is a technology for more appropriately holding food products having irregular shapes and sizes. This food product transfer system is provided with: a conveying means for conveying food products; a data acquisition means for acquiring data pertaining to the food products to be conveyed by the conveying means; an individual information acquiring means for acquiring individual information including at least information regarding the position or quality of a food product on the basis of the acquisition results of the data acquisition means; a gripping means for gripping a particular food product on the basis of the individual information; a position detection means for detecting the positions of movable members for gripping a food product in the gripping means; a moving mechanism for moving the gripping means to a prescribed position; and a control means for controlling the operation of the movable members in the gripping means on the basis of the position information of the position detection means.
