Abstract:
Disclosed is a food waste disposal apparatus. The food waste disposal apparatus is configured such that food waste is dehydrated in a rotating drum and delivered into a housing, and the food waste in the housing is discharged to the outside of the housing by the rotation of the drum. That is, the food waste is dehydrated, delivered, and discharged by a single component, thereby reducing costs. In addition, the food waste is crushed, dehydrated, delivered and discharged by a single motor, further reducing costs. In addition, a cam and a rotary shaft having a relatively simple structure, as well as the power of inertia, elevate a lower drum of the drum to enable the lower drum to tightly contact or to be spaced apart from an upper drum of the drum, thereby dehydrating, delivering, and discharging the food waste and further reducing costs. In addition, the food waste is dehydrated and delivered by centrifugal force, and the food waste in the housing is discharged to the outside of the housing by blades installed on the drum. That is, the food waste is completely dehydrated, completely delivered, and completely discharged, thereby sanitarily performing a food disposal process.
