Abstract:
The food waste treatment device A according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is provided with: a primary degradation and liquefaction part 1 that mixes food waste and water together to primarily degrade and liquefy the food waste; a secondary degradation part 2 having a microorganism degradation section 8 that receives waste water W1 after the primary degradation which occurs in the primary degradation and liquefaction part 1, aerates waste water W1 with gas O1 containing oxygen, and performs secondary degradation on organic matter in waste water W1 using aerobic microorganisms; and a treated liquid-returning and circulating part 3 that returns at least a portion of degraded and treated liquid W2 that is waste water after the treatment in the secondary degradation part, to the primary degradation and liquefaction part 1. As a result, waste water can be treated at a place where food waste is treated by a liquefied elimination method so that a waste water guideline value is satisfied. In addition, the amount of water used when waste water is treated in the system of the device, and when food waste is treated by a liquid disposal method, can be reduced, leading to a reduction in the amount of waste water.
