Abstract:
Disclosed is a food waste treatment method wherein an electric current is supplied to food waste, in which an electrolyte having electric conductivity is dissolved, such that heat is generated by resistance of the food waste when the electric current flows, and the generated heat is used to evaporate moisture included in the food waste. This effectively reduces heat loss occurring when a metal heater wire is heating up, heat loss occurring when heat is transferred from the heated metal heater wire to air, and heat loss occurring when the heated air is transferred to food waste, the heat losses occurring in the case of existing hot-air drying schemes, thereby treating food waste effectively.
