Abstract:
The present invention relates to a food waste treatment method using digestive enzymes. More specifically, the present invention relates to a food waste treatment method using digestive enzymes, in which food waste is added with a composite including amylase, protease, viscozyme, alcalase, and fungamyl enzymes and thermally treated whereby the food wastes are enzymatically degraded and then concentrated to afford animal feeds and fertilizers similar to natural products. The food waste treatment method according to the present invention makes it possible to quickly process food waste on a mass scale. In addition, the method exhibits excellent effects of processing food waste at high yield, reducing foul odor, and allowing the processed food waste fractions, which have been conventionally used as fertilizers only, to be available as animal feeds by adding a bulking agent to the food wastes.
