Abstract:
Disclosed is a technology for developing a footwear equipped with a novel reflective material in which the reflection effect can be maintained over a long term, variations can be added to the reflection mode, the safety of a walker can be ensured over a long term, and the function can be recovered easily. The footwear equipped with a reflective material is characterized in that a reflective material having a retroreflective function is provided in a range of the body of the footwear exposed to the outside, wherein the reflective material consists of a supporting material, a reflective element and a transparent protective material, and the reflective element is combined with the transparent protective material in noncontact state. Since the reflective element is protected by the transparent protective material, dust and fine particles of sand do not adhere to the reflective element directly and thereby the reflection effect can be maintained. Furthermore, good retroreflection can be achieved because the reflective element and the transparent protective material are in noncontact state.
