Abstract:
An article of footwear includes first and second midsole layers (140, 144) and first and second outsole layers (152, 154). The second midsole layer (144) defines a plurality of bores (180, 182). A first outsole layer (152) is translucent. A second outsole layer (154) includes a plurality of non-contiguous abrasion-resistant members (156, 158) that correspond in shape and size to one or more of the bores (180, 182) in the second midsole layer (144).
