Abstract:
Provided is a footwear item that can reduce foot burden and efficiently restore foot balance. A footwear item 1 is formed in a tube shape that covers from the bases of the toes to an instep section. The footwear item 1 comprises a sole cloth 2 that is formed from a non-stretch material and covers the sole, and an instep cloth 3 that is formed from a non-stretch material sewn to the sole cloth 2 and covers the instep. In a toe-side wide section on a tip end side, the peripheral length of the sole cloth 2 is 30%-50% of the total peripheral length of the footwear item 1, and in a narrow section on a rear end side, the peripheral length of the sole cloth 2 is 15%-30% of the total peripheral length of the footwear item 1.
