Abstract:
Footwear, mainly for women, comprises uppers (1), a sole (2) and a heel (3) consisting of two parts (4) located on both sides of the longitudinal axis with a gap in between and provided with a unit (6) for securing them to the sole. The support parts (4) of the heel are in addition rigidly connected to the sole by means of longitudinal crosspieces (8) of a shaped or openwork form located in a gap (9) between the heel (3) and the raised part of the sole (10) and situated on both sides of the longitudinal axis of the sole. The support parts (4), in addition to the longitudinal crosspieces (8) have a transverse crosspiece (11) interconnecting the parts (4) and thus providing for rigidity of the support parts (4) of the heel in the longitudinal and the transverse direction.
