Abstract:
An operation device for a movable body capable of operating the movable body based on natural feeling without feeling difficulty in operation even if an operator has any operating force, a carrying vehicle, and an auxiliary vehicle for walking, the operation device wherein a straight advance-based vector Fs, a course change-based vector Fc, and a rotation-based vector Fr are pre-set according to the applied operating force of the operator. Where an angle formed by the vector of the operating force applied by the operator (applied operating force vector Fi) and the straight advance-based vector Fs is &agr , an angle formed by the applied operating force vector Fi and the course change-based vector Fc is β, and an angle formed by the applied operating force vector Fi and the rotation-based vector Fr is &gammad , the requirement of angle &agr < angle β < angle &gammad can be satisfied. A moving state (here a straight advance mode) is selected according to a reference operating force vector (here the straight advance-based vector Fs) for the smallest angle (here the angle &agr ).
