Abstract:
A forced-convection liquid cooling method for a magnet and a cooling system therefor. The center of a wire of an electromagnetic coil (1) of a magnet is provided with a liquid cooling channel penetrating through longitudinally the whole wire of the electromagnetic coil, and the magnet is immersed in a cooling working medium (27); the cooling working medium (27) is pressed into the liquid cooling channel from one end of the electromagnet coil, and the cooling working medium (27) flows along the liquid cooling channel and flows out from the other end of the electromagnet coil (1), the liquid cooling channel being always at a constant high pressure state so as to maintain the cooling working medium (27) to be liquid. The liquid cooling channel is at a high-pressure constant-pressure state, suppressing thermal phase change of the cooling working medium (27) in the electromagnetic coil (1), maintaining the cooling working medium (27) in the liquid cooling channel to flow through the electromagnetic coil (1) always in a liquid state, giving full play to the advantage of liquid cooling forced-convection heat exchange, being able to suppress phase change in the electromagnetic coil (1) at one time, reducing the thermal resistance of gas heat exchange, effectively improving the cooling speed of the electromagnetic coil (1), rapidly cooling the magnet, improving the magnet loading frequency, and improving the usage efficiency.
