Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of forced water circulation cooling of a cable landing segment. Disclosed is a forced water circulation cooling system for a submarine communications cable landing segment. The submarine communications cable landing segment, which extends from the seawater to the shore, may for long periods be exposed to sunlight or buried in soil that does not allow for ready dissipation of heat. The use of a compact construction mode will greatly reduce the transmission capacity of the submarine communications cable; therefore, this area becomes a bottleneck segment restricting the transmission capacity of the entire cable. The present invention comprises a water circulation cooling treatment device, a water inlet pipe, a reflow pipe, and a cooling pipeline. The cooling water flows from the water circulation cooling treatment device to the water inlet pipe and the cooling pipeline, the heat generated by applying the current to the cable is taken away by the circulating water, and then the cooling water flows back from the reflow pipe to the water circulation cooling treatment device for cooling treatment, and then circulates and cools again. The cooling of the cable in compact construction is effectively achieved, a low temperature environment is provided for the landing segment cable, and the service life of a conductor of the landing segment cable is prevented from being affected due to the excessively high temperature.
