Abstract:
The group of inventions relates to differential gearings for vehicles. In a first variant, a differential gear has a housing (1) and a cover (3). Inside the housing (1) are mounted first and second straight-toothed side bevel gears (4, 5) and planetary gears (6). The cover (3) has on its inner end face an annular bore that forms an open chamber (9) in which is mounted a piston (10) that contacts with the first gear (4) and is capable of longitudinal movement conjointly with said gear (4). Inside the housing (1), on the inner end face thereof, there is a similar annular bore in which is mounted a piston (11) capable of moving conjointly with the second gear (5). The chamber (9) communicates, by means of a conduit (12) provided in the cover (3), with a nozzle (13) fastened to the outer end face of the cover (3) for connection to a system for the controlled feed of a working fluid. Similarly, the chamber in the housing communicates with a nozzle (14) fastened to the housing cover. To lock the differential gear, transmission working fluid fed into the chamber( 9) is used. In a second variant of the invention, two pairs of planetary gears are used which are mounted on a cross shaft.
