Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a foreign-matter removing device capable of stably removing foreign matter even from a film-like sheet body. [Solution] A foreign-matter removing device is provided with a cleaning head (10) having an ejection slit (112) and sprays fluid ejected from the ejection slit (112) at a predetermined operation flow rate, onto the surface of a sheet body (W) to remove foreign matter from the surface of the sheet body W. The foreign-matter removing device is configured to have: headset mechanisms (20, 30a, 30b) that set the cleaning head (10) at a predetermined operation position in a state in which the flow rate of the fluid from the ejection slit (112) is less than the operation flow rate; and a rotation mechanism (21) that relatively rotates the cleaning head (10) and the sheet body (W), after the cleaning head (10) is set at the operation position, in a state in which the fluid is ejected from the ejection slit (112) at the operation flow rate, while maintaining a state in which the cleaning head (10) is opposed to the surface of the sheet body (W).
