Abstract:
A foreign substance detection method comprises: detecting a current first switching frequency of a wireless charging system during the process of performing wireless charging by using a primary side and a secondary side of the wireless charging system (101); acquiring a second switching frequency of the wireless charging system when no foreign substance exists between the primary side and the secondary side of the wireless charging system (102); and when a difference between the first switching frequency and the second switching frequency is in a preset range, determining that a foreign substance exists between the primary side and the secondary side of the wireless charging system (103). The foreign substance detection method can effectively detect whether a foreign substance exists between the primary side and the secondary side of the wireless charging system.
