Abstract:
Disclosed are: a forged billet having excellent mechanical strength; a process for producing a forged billet; a pre-wheel having a light weight and excellent mechanical strength; and a process for producing a wheel.
Specifically disclosed is a forged billet (10) produced by casting a light metal alloy to produce a casted billet (4) and compressing the casted billet (4) by applying pressure to finely divide the metal structure of the casted billet (4), wherein the light metal alloy is duralumin.
