Abstract:
Provided are a forged billet from which a wheel having excellent and uniform mechanical strength can be manufactured and a wheel obtained therefrom. A forged billet (10) obtained by forming a cast billet (4) by fusion-casting a light-metal alloy and pressurizing and compressing the cast billet (4) in one direction or multiple directions includes a fiber flow and satisfies the following expression. A/B > 2 (where A is the length of the cast billet in the pressurization direction, and B is the length of the forged billet in the pressurization direction.)
