Abstract:
This forgotten article notification system is provided with a first wireless communication device 100 which is installed at a predetermined location, second wireless communication devices 200 which are attached to personal belongings of a user, and a notification processing device 300 which performs processing relating to notifying the user of forgotten articles, wherein the first wireless communication device 100 acquires identification information about personal belongings of the user from the second wireless communication devices 200, and transmits the acquired identification information to the notification processing device 300. The notification processing device 300 then compares identification information (registered identification information) about personal belongings of the user that are registered in advance, with the identification information (transmitted identification information) transmitted from the first wireless communication device 100, and if some of the registered identification information is missing from the transmitted identification information, the notification processing device 300 detects, as a forgotten article, each personal belonging associated with the missing registered identification information, and performs notification processing on a mobile terminal 400 to notify the user of each detected forgotten article, thereby preventing the user from forgetting to carry personal belongings registered by the user.
