Abstract:
In the present invention, a forklift (2) has the following: a pair of left and right lateral frames (4, 6); a rear frame (8) which connects the rear ends of the lateral frames (4, 6); and vertically movable fork members (17) which are disposed, in plan view, in a space between the pair of lateral frames (4, 6). Wheel units (10, 11) comprising a steering motor (30), a running motor (44), and drive wheels (12, 13) are provided at the front ends of the lateral frames (4, 6) and at the center of the rear frame (8); and a battery (14) is provided at the center of each lateral frame (4, 6).
