The invention concerns a device and a method for dispensing parts (12) of a material to be distributed (23) on or into a moving printer carrier (15). The device comprises a dispensing cylinder (29) and a counter-cylinder (28). Between the dispensing cylinder and the counter-cylinder, a cut is performed using at least a cutting member formed on at least one of the two cylinders and rotating with said cylinder(s). The parts (12) are brought, by rotating the dispensing cylinder (29), on or in the printing carrier (15). The parts are quickly, accurately, easily and simultaneously dispensed, cut and the printing carrier (15) is precisely adjusted by virtue of the fact that the cutting member is in the form of a narrow cutting edge (25b). Said device and said method are suited, among others, for producing forms with integrated card, such that, for example, the laminated material (12) dispensed on the back of the form is arranged in such a way as to cover almost completely the card surface and its outer edge has a contour corresponding substantially to the cutting line (34) of the card.
