Abstract:
Provided are a formaldehyde absorbent and a use method therefor. The chemical components of the formaldehyde absorbent in weight percentage are 0.1-99.9% of amino acids, and 99.9-0.1% of basic groups of DNAs and RNAs. The use method comprises the following steps: a. dissolving the formaldehyde absorbent in a solvent to form a solution, or dissolving the formaldehyde absorbent in a solvent and mixing same on a solid support; b. placing the resulting solution or solid support in a room containing formaldehyde; and c. the air containing formaldehyde is brought into contact and reacted with and absorbed by the solution or the solid support. The formaldehyde absorbent has a strong absorptivity, a low cost, and does not produce secondary pollution.
