Abstract:
Provided is a cellulose/melamine formaldehyde composite resin, which is prepared from the raw materials of, in percentage by weight, 30-90% of a melamine formaldehyde resin, 5-60% of a cellulose powder, 0.01-0.1% of a curing agent, 0-20% of an inorganic filler, 1-5% of a surface modifier and 1-20% of a dimer acid. The preparation method of the resin comprises the steps of: stirring and sieving the raw materials, and compression molding to give the product. The prepared cellulose/melamine formaldehyde composite resin has an increased strength, and an significantly reduced chipping rate as measured by a free fall test at a height of 2 meters. Therefore, the problems that the cellulose/melamine formaldehyde resin molded product in the prior art has large brittleness, poor strength, and is easy to be brittle and broken due to falling are solved. The composite resin has a prospect of wide applications.
