Abstract:
A novel foaming agent which has excellent foaming performance, is highly safe for human bodies, does not cause environmental pollution, and can effect foaming in a wide temperature range; and an expandable resin composition containing the agent. The foaming agent is a carbamoylazocarboxylic ester derivative represented by the general formula H2NCON=NCOOR wherein R represents lower alkyl, phenyl or benzyl.
