Abstract:
A forming mold for a biomass briquette, comprising a pair of peripherally-meshing toothed press rollers constituted by a first gear (1) and a second gear (2) peripherally meshed with each other. The first gear (1) is a cylindrical structure and is provided at the center thereof with a through hole for use in collecting the biomass briquette; each gear tooth of the first gear (1) is provided along the axial direction with a forming hole (3) for use in forming a biomass material (4). The first gear (1) produces an undercut on the second gear (2); the second gear (2) is an undercut gear; the gear root part of the undercut gear is of an undercut gear profile; the undercut gear profile is a gear profile formed when a portion of a standard gear profile is undercut by the gear root part, thus forming respectively on each of the two sides of each gear root part an undercut area for use in storing the biomass material. Also disclosed is a forming method for the biomass briquette. The forming mold and the forming method generate a cutting effect on the biomass material stored in the undercut area when the gears mesh; the cutting force thereof is divided into axial force components along the forming hole, pushes the biomass material into the forming holes, and significantly increases a pressing effect; while at the same time, a simple structure, extended service life, and reduced energy consumption are provided, and continuous operation is allowed.
