Abstract:
A forming mold and a forming method for a biomass briquette, employing a pair of internally meshed toothed press rollers constituted by a first gear (1) and a second gear (2) internally-meshed with each other. The first gear (1) is a top-cutting gear. When the gears mesh, the second gear (2) generates a cutting effect on a biomass material (4) stored in the top-cutting area of the first gear (1), the cutting force of the second gear is divided into axial force components along forming holes (3) and pushes the biomass material (4) into the forming holes (3), thus significantly increasing a pressing effect. The forming mold is provided with a simple structure, extended service life, and reduced energy consumption, and is capable of continuous operation.
