Abstract:
Disclosed is a foundation for a building in a nuclear facility, which is provided with a lower foundation (30) provided on the ground (7) and an upper foundation (31) provided above the lower foundation (30) with a seismic isolator (32) disposed therebetween, wherein an equipment room (S) capable of having equipment (K) installed is provided inside the upper foundation (31). Further, a foundation-side hull structure, which is constructed in a reticular pattern by transverse reinforcement ribs extending in one direction and vertical reinforcement ribs extending across the transverse reinforcement ribs, is provided inside the upper foundation (31), and the equipment room (S) is provided in the space inside the foundation segmented by the transverse reinforcement ribs and the vertical reinforcement ribs.
