Abstract:
Disclosed is a four-way cooling and heating indoor unit provided with a speed-increasing hopper and a rotary outlet, which comprises: an air inlet for sucking room air; a fan for sucking air from the air inlet and discharging the same by rotation; a driving section that rotates the fan and is formed at the lower side of the fan; a cooling or heating coil for cooling or heating the air flowing by the rotation of the fan; the air outlet formed in the central area at the lower side of the driving section and discharging the air, which is alternatively cooled or heated by the cooling or heating coil, into a room; the speed-increasing hopper formed between the cooling or heating coil and the air outlet and having a tapered shape in which the side through which air passes becomes narrow in the air outlet direction so as to accelerate the speed of the air which is discharged via the air outlet; and an air outlet rotation section having one side coupled with the air outlet and the other side surface-contacting the air which passes through the speed-increasing hopper so as to rotate the air outlet at a speed corresponding to the air speed. According to the present invention, it is possible to increase the air discharge speed by the speed-increasing hopper having a sectional surface in the tapered shape so that the cooled or heated air may reach the bottom of the room. In addition, the air outlet is rotated at a uniform speed so that the room air may be uniformly and consistently cooled or heated.
