Abstract:
The invention provides a four-way switch containing a malfunction prevention structure. The four-way switch according to an embodiment of the present invention is equipped with a knob that can be tilted in four ways to achieve four-way switching operations. The main point in the constitution of the four-way switch is the inclusion of: a casing whereon the knob is mounted so as to be tiltable; a stopper formed so as to protrude by only a predetermined height on one surface of the casing, limiting the movement of the knob in the downward direction by contacting the lower part surface of the knob during a tilting operation of the knob; a guide projection formed so as to protrude by only a predetermined length on the lower part surface of the knob; and a guide groove portion formed so as to protrude by only a predetermined height on the one surface of the casing to be face-to-face with the guide projection, provided with a recessed portion having a structure engaging the guide projection. The present invention can prevent two switches from being operated simultaneously when an edge portion of the knob from the four-way switch is pressed.
