Description:
FOUR-WHEEL CYCLE

The invention refers to a four-wheel cycle provided with four small armless wheels, driven by levers by the human driver, used in transportations.

Bicycles constructions are known, provided with a frame on which a handlebar, a saddle are mounted and on which the wheels' drive is provided by a driving engine. The actuating motor transmits by a chain wheel to another chain wheel, joint to the driving roll, which is unmediated outside, engaging by friction a wheel from the rear side of a two-wheel vehicle.

These constructions have the disadvantage of being driven only on one side, considerably reducing the energy and the slippage phenomenon may occur between the driving roll and the rear wheel. The technical issue solved by the invention is to design a four-wheel cycle provided with small, armless wheels and single driving.

The four-wheel cycle, according to the invention, solves the above issue by the fact that it is made of four small wheels with two levers in between, on a frame, on which a saddle, a fixed directional pipe, a mobile steering and a handlebar; on the same frame mentioned above, two front spans and two rear spans are mounted, on which three arms are disposed, ensuring the free mounting of wheels and the driving is provided by a driving gear, in contact with two mobile arms, fixed on the lever and on a clutch disk, fixed on the frame.

The invention presents the following advantages:

- compact and solid construction;

- increased safety in exploitation by the elimination of the wheel arms;

- the decrease of the advancement resistance due to the construction of the frame and forks; an ergonomic position in pedaling.
