Abstract:

The present invention relates to a fragment scattering protection apparatus for a brake of an excavator. The fragment scattering protection apparatus includes: a chisel protruding downward from a center of a main body of a brake to crush a bedrock; a rubber buffer plate having an insertion hole in which the chisel is inserted in a central portion of the main body having a circular plate shape, the rubber buffer plate for buffering impacts applied to the chisel when the bedrock is crushed; a taper key mounted on an outer surface of the chisel, the taper key having an outer diameter gradually increasing toward a lower side thereof to prevent the rubber buffer plate from being moved downward; a protective iron plate disposed on each of the upper and lower ends of the rubber buffer plate to prevent the rubber buffer plate from being damaged and prevent the taper key from being separated; and a plurality of wire loops fixed to an upper end of a side of the rubber buffer plate to surround a side portion of the chisel. Thus, according to the present invention, the excavator may have maximized durability and may also prevent members of the excavator from being damaged and worn by fragments of the bedrock.
