Abstract:
A fragrance gift pack containing a scented sachet in a paperboard package is provided. A fragrance gift pack includes a scented sachet, a paperboard package having at least one side, and at least one holding element disposed in the side of the paperboard package for holding the scented sachet with the paperboard package. The scented sachet can be detached later by the end user or consumer for personal use.

Claims:
CLAIMS

We claim

1. A fragrance gift pack comprising:

a scented sachet;

a paperboard package having at least one side; and

at least one holding element disposed in said side of said paperboard package for holding said scented sachet with said paperboard package.

2. The fragrance gift pack as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said holding element is at least one of a pouch, a plurality of slit, a stapler pin, a paper clip, a safety pin, a ball pin and a glue.

3. A fragrance gift pack comprising:

a scented sachet;

a paperboard package having at least one side; and

at least one pouch disposed in said side of said paperboard package for holding said scented sachet,

wherein

said scented sachet is inserted into said pouch.

4. The fragrance gift pack as claimed in claim 3, wherein said paperboard package comprises four sides that are folded along a plurality of scored lines, said sides defining an inner region and an outer region of said paperboard package.

5. The fragrance gift pack as claimed in claim 4, wherein said pouch is disposed in at least one of said sides defining said inner region of said paperboard package.

6. The fragrance gift pack as claimed in claim 5, wherein said pouch is disposed at a bottom of said side defining said inner region of said paperboard package.

7. The fragrance gift pack as claimed in claim 3, wherein said pouch's shape is at least one of rectangle, triangle, circle, semi-circle, quadrant of a circle, curve and polygon.

8. The fragrance gift pack as claimed in claim 4, wherein said paperboard package further comprises a region defined by said scored lines for accommodating said scented sachet.

FRAGRANCE GIFT PACK

TECHNICAL FIELD

[001] The embodiment herein generally relates to packaging of perfumes and more particularly but not exclusively to packaging of scented sachets.

BACKGROUND

[002] Generally, a scented sachet or a fragrance sachet is a bag or a packet enclosing a perfume material. The purpose of scented sachet is to induce fragrance or a good aromatic smell in the surrounding area. Rose, lavender, herbs etc., and some other chemical ingredients are some of the commonly used perfume material in a scented sachet. Scented sachets are commonly used in the living rooms, closets, suitcases and elsewhere, for pleasant smell.

[003] Currently, scented sachets are usually sold only in the form of individual packs or in bundles as a standalone item. Presently, the usage of gifts is on the rise among the people over the world. Therefore, there is a need for a new way of packaging scented sachets in form of gift packs.

OBJECTS

[004] The principle object of an embodiment of this invention is to provide a fragrance gift pack containing a scented sachet.

[005] Another object of an embodiment of this invention is to provide a scented sachet that can be detached from the fragrance gift pack, after the purchase by the end consumer.

[006] These and other objects of the embodiments herein will be better appreciated and understood when considered in conjunction with the following description and the accompanying drawings. It should be understood, however, that the following descriptions, while indicating preferred embodiments and numerous specific details thereof, are given by way of illustration and not of limitation. Many changes and modifications may be made within the scope of the embodiments herein without departing from the spirit thereof, and the embodiments herein include all such modifications.

SUMMARY

[007] Accordingly a fragrance gift pack containing a scented sachet is provided. A fragrance gift pack includes a scented sachet, a paperboard package having at least one side, and at least one holding element disposed in the side of the paperboard package for holding the scented sachet. The scented sachet can be detached later by the user for personal use.

[0013] The embodiments herein and the various features and advantageous details thereof are explained more fully with reference to the non-limiting embodiments that are illustrated in the accompanying drawings and detailed in the following description. Descriptions of well-known components and processing techniques are omitted so as to not unnecessarily obscure the embodiments herein. The examples used herein are intended merely to facilitate an understanding of ways in which the embodiments herein may be practiced and to further enable those of skill in the art to practice the embodiments herein. Accordingly, the examples should not be construed as limiting the scope of the embodiments herein.

[0014] The embodiments herein achieve a fragrance gift pack containing a scented sachet in a paperboard package. Referring now to the drawings, and more particularly to FIGS. 1 through 4, where similar reference characters denote corresponding features consistently throughout the figures, there are shown preferred embodiments.

[0015] FIG. 1 depicts the perspective view of the fragrance gift pack 100 according to an embodiment as disclosed. The fragrance gift pack 100 includes a paperboard package 102, a holding element 104 and a scented sachet 106.

[0016] FIG. 2 depicts the front view of the fragrance gift pack 100 in open state according to an embodiment as disclosed. The paperboard package 102 is used for enclosing the scented sachet 106. The paperboard package 102 has a plurality of sides 102a, 102b, 102c and 102d defined by a plurality of scored lines 102e as shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4. The paperboard package 102 further includes a region 102f defined and enclosed by the scored lines 102e as shown in Fig. 2. The paperboard package 102 is folded along the scored lines 102e. In an embodiment, the sides 102a and 102d define the outer region of the paperboard package 102 and the sides 102b and 102c define the inner region of the paperboard package 102, on folding the sides 102a, 102b, 102c and 102d along the scored line 102e. The folding of the sides 102a, 102b, 102c and 102d along the scored lines 102e creates the region 102f. The region 102f is used for creating a gap or space between the sides 102b and 102c for accommodating the scented sachet 106 in the paperboard package 102.

[0017] The holding element 104 is used for holding the scented sachet 106 with the paperboard package 102 as shown in FIG. 2. In an embodiment the holding element 104 is a pouch 104a. However, it is also within the scope of the invention that the holding element 104 may be a plurality of slits (not shown), a stapler pin (not shown), a paper clip (not shown), a safety pin (not shown), a ball pin (not shown) or a glue (not shown) without otherwise deterring the intended function of the holding element 104 as can be deduced from the description. In an embodiment, the pouch 104a is provided in the side 102c of the paperboard package 102. However, it is also within the scope of the invention that the pouch 104a may be provided at any other sides without otherwise deterring the intended function of the pouch 104a as can be deduced from the description. In an embodiment, the pouch 104a is approximately rectangular in shape with an opening at its top for inserting the scented sachet 106. However, it is also within the scope of the invention that the pouch 104a may be triangular, circular, semi circular, quadrant of a circle, curve, polygon or any other shape without otherwise deterring the intended function of the pouch 104a as can be deduced from the description. The bottom and sides of the pouch 104a are sealed for holding the scented sachet 106. In an embodiment, the pouch 104a is provided at the bottom of the side 102c of the paperboard package 102. However, it is also within the scope of the invention that the pouch 104a may be provided at the top or middle or at any other location without otherwise deterring the intended function of the pouch 104a as can be deduced from the description. In an embodiment the pouch 104a is separately attached with the paperboard package 102. However, it is also within the scope of the invention that the pouch 104a may be integrally connected with the paperboard package 102 and the pouch 104a may be obtained on folding the preform (not shown) of the pouch 104a.

[0018] FIG. 3 depicts the detached scented sachet from a paperboard package according to an embodiment as disclosed. The scented sachet 106 is used for providing fragrance or a pleasant smell in the surrounding area. The scented sachet 106 is separately inserted into the pouch 104a through the opening at the top of the pouch 104a and can be detached later from the pouch 104a by the end user or consumer for personal use of the scented sachet 106. FIG. 4 depicts the rear view of the fragrance gift pack in open state according to an embodiment as disclosed.
