Abstract:
The present invention relates to an aqueous-alcohol eau de toilette or eau de parfum composition comprising a high proportion of alcohol, intended to be applied directly to the skin or the hair, without being rinsed off after application. More specifically, it relates to a perfume composition which has excellent properties such as storage stability, and persistence of the fragrant note once applied to the skin. The composition is transparent and comprises ethanol, from 0 to 30% by weight of added water, from 0 to 0.01% by weight of a surfactant and from 5% to 40% by weight of a fatty phase comprising a perfume concentrate and an aliphatic ether of formula R‑O‑(CH(CH3)-CH2O)a-(CH2-CH2O)b-H, in which a and b are integers such that the sum of a and b ranges from 1 to 4, and R is an aliphatic chain comprising from 8 to 18 carbon atoms.
