Abstract:
A Frame Free Gearless Synchronous torque motor consists of Stator iron core, rotor core, rotor shaft, Front End plate, Rear End plate, winding of the stator iron core disposed in the middle of rotor having rotor shaft connected at central axis rotor. A square stator core fixed between Front End plate and Rear End plate having undercut of stator shape in it and tightened through four machined and turned rods at four corners as shown in Fig. 6. Front End Plate and Rear End Plate has inbuilt lifting lugs on two sides of each plates in all total four giving extra strength to structure as shown in Fig.5.

Claims:
I claim

1. Frame Free Direct Drive Gearless Torque Motor consists of

rotor shaft(9), rotor core (8), stator core(5), front end plate(3), rear end plate (6) , terminal enclosure (12), encoder (11), front sealed bearing (4), rear sealed bearings (7), tightening threaded rods (15), lifting lugs (14) and formation of unique fins (13), rotor core (8), and encoder (12) are aligned in single central axis of rotor shaft (9);

wherein front end plate (3) and rear end plate (6) has front sealed bearings (4) and rear sealed bearings (7) which holds the rotor core (8) through rotor shaft (9) resulting in free rotational movement of rotor core (8) which is embedded with permanent magnets;

wherein a square stator core (5) fixed between front end plate (3) and rear end plate (6) having undercut of stator shape in it and tightened through four machined and turned rods at four comers; wherein front end plate (3) and rear end plate (6) also holds Stator Core (5) through stator shape undercut formed on both plates and finally gripped by four tightening threaded rods (15).

2. Frame Free Direct Drive Gearless Torque Motor as claimed in claim 1 wherein winding of the stator iron core disposed in the middle of rotor having rotor shaft connected at central axis rotor.

3. Frame Free Direct Drive Gearless Torque Motor as claimed in claim 1 wherein front end plate(3) and rear end plate (6) has inbuilt lifting lugs on two sides of each plates in all total four giving extra strength to structure

4. Frame Free Direct Drive Gearless Torque Motor as claimed in claim 1 wherein permanent magnets move rotationally along circular path of stator core (5) with equal air gap forming an equally distributed magnetic field.

5. Frame Free Direct Drive Gearless Torque Motor as claimed in claim 1 wherein the stator core (5) with formation of laminations fins (13) with effective thermal resistance with better thermal conductivity for quick heat removal from synchronous torque motor in operation.

Frame Free Direct Drive Gearless Torque Motor as claimed in claim 1 wherein the square stator core laminations (5) have effective slot shape for concentrated winding having fault tolerance capability with reduced losses and reduced cost with easy implementation of automatic winding; wherein rotor core (8) for quick heat removal naturally includes thick rotor ends with embedded permanent magnets with laminated core to prevent pull out of magnets, simple and reliable structure. 7. Frame Free Direct Drive Gearless Torque Motor as claimed in claim

1 wherein the inner surface of stator sleeve (5) and rotor core (8) to from air gap, when stator coil is applied through PWM sinusoidal alternating current wave through variable frequency drive, producing alternating magnetic field which interacts with magnetic field produced by permanent magnet rotor core (8).

Frame Free Direct Drive Gearless Torque Motor as claimed in claim 1 wherein the interaction between two fields produced rotational torque by rotor which passes through the spindle to transmission coupling to generate motion. Frame Free Direct Drive Gearless Torque Motor as claimed in claim 1 wherein encoder (11) mainly provides speed feedback for permanent magnet rotor (8) position. 0 Frame Free Direct Drive Gearless Torque Motor as claimed in claim 1 wherein the terminal enclosure (12) by locking bolts on the outside of stator core on Rear End plate (6).

Frame Free Direct Drive Gearless Torque Motor

Field of the Invention

The present Invention relates to Synchronous Torque Motor for Frame Free direct drive Gearless Torque motor, where the fins has been provided for thermal properties. The present invention is mainly use to provide mechanical transmission.

Background of the invention

Presently for mechanical transmission system is mainly composed of frequency converter, asynchronous motor and gearbox. The transmission system has low efficiency, big noise, oil leakage, low speed regulation accuracy and low reliability . The gearbox used often has gear grinding and so on Phenomenon, it is necessary to frequent downtime inspection, plus grease and other work, making equipment maintenance costs increase, work efficiency decline. In the prior art, when the motor runs at a low speed, especially the synchronous motor has obvious ripples. When the frequency of the V / F control mode of a common synchronous motor is relatively low, the motor can not meet the requirement of large torque output, and even start-up is difficult.

The Torque Motors is basically of two types. One is with Gearbox Torque Motor and another is Direct Drive Gearless Torque Motor. Torque Motor with Gearbox requires mainly consist of electric motor with worm - gear reducers with or without feedback encoders. Gearless Synchronous Torque Motor is usually a direct drive motor with rotor coupled directly to transmission Coupling/sheave. Conventional gearless torque motor is with housing wiiich covers and holds lamination stack. It requires heavy casting with special machining and tooling for assembly which increases cost and time. Heat generated inside can only pass through housing which increases temperature of motor which in long run decrease life cycle and efficiency of motor. It also requires external fan cooling or water cooling which add extra cost and time.

In order to overcome above drawbacks the present invented frame free Direct Drive (Gearless) Synchronous torque Motor is invented.

Object of the Invention

The present invention device /machine has compact structure which can be easily installed in narrow space.

Further the present invention is an improved Gearless Synchronous Torque Motor construction which allows maximum flexibility with overall reduced size, weight and cost of gearless torque motor.

Another object of the present invention has preferable square stator core includes fins with special thermal and aerodynamic features so, preferable rotor core is having aerodynamic structure to support quick heat removal through stator core while machine is in operation.

Preferable stator includes stator cover end plates with undercut, unique designed square stator lamination fins with improved thermal characteristics with efficient slot and concentrated winding for efficient electrical characteristics.

As a prefer embodiment the brake if required is provided outside the Rear End plate.

Beneficial effect of present invention of housing free gearless synchronous torque motor is no housing case, easy assembly with less timing, reduced cost, easy installation, high reliability, simple structure, low weight, smooth running, no fans or water cooling, no noise, reducing noise pollution, brashless, no gears, simple and less maintenance, dynamic performance with improved thermal conductivity, long life and efficient dynamic performance. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

It will be convenient to further describe the present invention with respect to the accompanying drawings that illustrate possible arrangements of the invention. Other arrangements of the invention are possible, and consequently the particularity of the accompanying drawings is not intended to be limiting of the present in vention.

Detailed description of the invention

Before explaining the present invention in detail, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited in its application to the details of the construction and arrangement of parts illustrated in the accompanying drawings. The invention is capable of other embodiments, as depicted in different figures as described above and of being practiced or earned out in a variety of ways. It is to be understood that the phraseology and terminology employed herein is for the purpose of description and not of limitation. As shown in figure- 1 said Frame Free Structure Design of Direct Drive (Gearless) Synchronous Torque Motor for Maximizing Natural Cooling: includes rotor shaft(9), rotor core (8), Stator Core(5), Front End Plate(3), Rear End Plate (6) , Terminal Enclosure (12), Encoder (11), Front Sealed Bearing (4), Rear Sealed Bearings (7), tightening threaded rods (15), Lifting lugs (14) and formation of unique Fins (13), rotor core (8), and encoder (12) are aligned in single central axis of rotor shaft (9). Front End Plate (3) and Rear End Plate (6) has Front Sealed Bearings (4) and Rear Sealed Bearings (7) which holds the Rotor Core (8) through Rotor Shaft (9) resulting in free rotational movement of Rotor Core (8) which is embedded with Permanent Magnets. This Permanent magnets move rotationally along circular path of Stator core (5) with equal air gap forming a equally distributed magnetic field. Front End Plate (3) and Rear End Plate (6) also holds Stator Core (5) through stator shape undercut formed on both plates and finally gripped by four tightening threaded rods (15).

As shown in figure -3, the stator core (5) with formation of laminations fins (13) with effective thermal resistance with better thermal conductivity for quick heat removal from synchronous torque motor in operation. The square stator core laminations (5) have effective slot shape for concentrated winding having fault tolerance capability with reduced losses and reduced cost with easy implementation of automatic winding. Wherein rotor core (8) for quick heat removal naturally includes thick rotor ends with embedded permanent magnets with laminated core to prevent pull out of magnets, simple and reliable structure.

In conjunction with Fig 1 the synchronous torque motor mainly produce the torque for mentioned applications. The inner surface of stator sleeve (5) and rotor core (8) to from air gap, when stator coil is applied through PWM sinusoidal alternating current wave through variable frequency drive, producing alternating magnetic field which interacts with magnetic field produced by permanent magnet rotor core (8). The interaction between two fields produced rotational torque by rotor which passes through the spindle to transmission coupling to generate motion. Encoder (11) mainly provides speed feedback for permanent magnet rotor (8) position. The Frame Free Structure of Direct Drive Gearless Synchronous Torque Motor for Maximizing Natural Cooling with the terminal enclosure (12) by locking bolts on the outside of stator core on Rear End plate (6). Further as shown in figure -1, stator core (5) with Front End plate (3) and Rear End Plate (6) are connected and tightened for holding with four connecting threaded rods (15).

Described above, only the preferred embodiment of the present invention only, not for the present invention any formal restrictions, although the invention has been revealed as the preferred embodiment, however, not intended to limit the present invention, any skilled in the art technical staff, without departing from the scope of the present invention within the program, can be used when the contents of the above disclosed techniques make little changes or substitutions and changes in the equivalent embodiments, but any aspect of the invention without departing from the content, according to the present invention, technical substance of any of the above embodiments when taken in a simple modification, equivalent variation and modification as would fall within the scope of the present invention the technical solution. Summary of the Invention

A Frame Free Gearless Synchronous torque motor consists of Stator iron core, rotor core, rotor shaft, Front End plate, Rear End plate, winding of the stator iron core disposed in the middle of rotor having rotor shaft connected at central axis rotor.

A square stator core fixed between Front End plate and Rear End plate having undercut of stator shape in it and tightened through four machined and turned rods at four comers as shown in Fig. 6.
