Abstract:
Disclosed is a frame sealant composition, comprising a main component and high-strength fibers with a specific surface area of 2,000-30,000 m2/g. The amount of high-strength fibers added is equal to 0.5-3% of the weight of the main component. High-strength fibers with a relatively larger surface area are added to the frame sealant composition in addition to the main component, the high-strength fibers having a surface with active groups such as a hydroxyl group and a carboxyl group to form a chemical bond at an interface of a fiber-resin matrix, improving the reaction capacity and adhesion strength of the fiber-resin matrix. The present invention allows overall improvement to the strength of the frame sealant composition before curing, improving upon an issue of liquid crystal penetration and leakage.
