Abstract:

A framework member is a high tensile strength steel member included in a framework section which is a part of the framework of the body of a vehicle. The framework member is provided with a plate-like mounting section coming in contact with another member of the vehicle. The mounting section is provided with a weld section which is the portion of the mounting section, which is thinner than the remaining portion of the mounting section and which is welded to said another member.
