Abstract:
A free feeder for sows, comprising a hopper (1), a feeding amount adjustment mechanism (2) and a discharge mechanism (3), the feeding amount adjustment mechanism being mounted inside the hopper, the hopper comprising a C-shaped shell (11), a front side plate (12), a bottom plate (13) and a guide plate (14), the front side plate being fixed on the front face of the C-shaped shell, the bottom plate being welded onto the bottom of the C-shaped shell, leaving a gap, with the front side plate as a discharge port, the guide plate being welded between the bottom plate and the rear side wall of the C-shaped shell and aligned with the bottom plate at the discharge port; the discharge mechanism comprises a feeding plate (31), an ejector rod (32), a top cap (33) and a limit pin (34), the feeding plate being located above the guide plate, the top cap being located below the bottom plate, the upper end of the ejector rod passing through the bottom plate and the guide plate and being welded to the feeding plate, the lower end of the ejector rod being welded to the top cap, and the limit pin being welded onto the ejector rod below the bottom plate. The feeder has a simple structure, can freely adjust the feeding amount, avoid feeding onto the eyes and nose of sows, and reduce the number of manual feeding; the fodder is not spilled when sows eat fresh fodder, achieving the purpose of not wasting fodder and saving labor.
