Abstract:
The invention relates to a freewheel which is particularly useful for permanently meshed starters and which comprises an inner ring which is coupled to the crankshaft or the primary mass, an outer ring which is coupled to the starter shaft, and a cage in which several clamping bodies are received. In the coupled state, clamping bodies act upon the inner ring and on the outer ring, and transmit torque between an inner ring, an outer ring and, in the decoupled state, (freewheeling), they are arranged at a distance from the outer ring. According to the invention, the freewheel comprises means which support the clamping bodies in the decoupled state.
